If you haven’t been up to Larchmere Boulevard, with its intriguing mix of boutiques and locally owned eateries, since before the pandemic, Friday August 6 might be a good time to go.
The street’s merchants have started hosting Larchmere First Friday, when the shops and restaurants will be open late, with some stores staying open until 10pm. Loganberry Books will be open for browsing and for viewing the new Annex Gallery exhibit, Photographic Translation, by James Christopher Mason until 9pm.
While some businesses closed their doors during the shutdown, others have opened on the street, so it’s time to update your impression of Larchmere.
