Early this year, artist Kevin Joseph moved his Saymo Collective + Gallery from Kamm’s Corners into the Negative Space Gallery in AsiaTown’s Asian Town Center.
The pandemic slowed down the momentum and flow of events, but that changes this Saturday when Negative Space Gallery and SAYMO Collective + Gallery open Ellemental, which Joseph describes as “an art show highlighting the constantly awesome power of almighty Mother Nature and all that is Creation.”
Artists featured include Joseph (work pictured), Justin Roberts, Chelsie Barile, Karyn Wade, Erin Greene and Steph Pixxi. Sticking to safety guidelines, there won’t be food and drink but he says “we can always go out as a group afterwards and support some local restaurants!” And the gallery will award prizes for “best mask.” That’s one way to get people to wear them!
