Like all of us you’re probably feeling unsettled right now — maybe anxious, unmotivated, confused, stressed, tense.
Tai Chi can offer some help for that. It’s a Chinese martial art that generally emphasizes breathing, balance and focus more than high-speed physically demanding moves. It’s a discipline that doesn’t require special equipment or clothing and can be practiced at home, which makes it ideal for these times.
So Tai Chi/Meditation Institute Cleveland, based in Macedonia, is currently offering its classes online via Zoom with Sifu Edward Niam.
“Our proprietary program, The Movement of Life, blends the distinctive qualities of Tai Chi, Shaolin Kung Fu and Qigong to fine tune and recharge your mind, body and spirit,” they say. “All are welcome and no previous experience is necessary.”
Classes take place Wednesday, Friday Saturday and Monday, and are $8 each. Go to the website to register.
