Photostream Event Celebrates Reopening of Medina Cat Rescue

Sun 5/24 @ 7PM

Do you really, really, REALLY love cats? If so, join Cleveland photographer Joe Kleon on Facebook Live Sunday May 24 when he hosts a photostream to celebrate the reopening of the Medina-based cat rescue Kitten Krazy.

For the past six years, Kleon has worked as a volunteer photographer at the rescue, capturing and sharing pictures of its adoptable residents. He’ll show a couple of hundred of his favorite cat and kitten photos taken during that time (promising that they will be “the cutest cat photos you have ever seen!”) Kitten Krazy founder/executive director Wendy Mirrotto will share news about the rescue’s reopening and some of the changes it will be making. And Kleon will talk about his portable cat photo studio and take viewers through the process of creating it two years ago, showing off the interchangeable backdrops that can make cats look like they are floating in space or performing in front of a huge rock festival.

Yes, they’re hoping you’ll be moved to donate a few dollars to help get the rescue back on its feet. And keep them in mind if you’re seize with an overwhelming urge to add another feline to your family!

Go here to bask in the cuteness.
