Lake County Restaurant Offers Culinary Passports to Help Feed Local People in Need

Ridgewood Kitchen & Spirits in Concord is open for carryout Monday-Saturday 4-8pm. But they’re doing more than just providing alternatives to your home cooking or make-it-at-home pizza kits (really!)

They’re also sponsoring a 12-week tour of the world called Culinary Passport Expedition. But a passport for $10, and each week, when you order food from the specified area, you’ll get a stamp for travelling to that area. 10% of each of these meals goes to United Way — Feed Lake County. In addition, when you get your passport stamped you get a $10 certificate to use for a dine-in meal once the restaurant reopens. If you participate in all 12 “trips,” you’ll have $120 to use, and receive a commemorative T-shirt as well.

Go here to order your passport.
