Main Street Kent is bringing a colorful weekend to downtown Kent — two days packed with music performances, art exhibitions and workshops, educational discussions and trainings all in support of the LGBTQ+ Center. Kent Rainbow Weekend will take place on March 6 and 7 throughout the city, with dozens of businesses and nonprofits taking part in the inclusive celebration.
Headlining the event will be Comedian Judy Gold, with a live performance at the Kent Stage. Actor, writer & comedian Judy Gold has had stand-up specials on HBO and Comedy Central. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of show, on Fri 3/6 @ 7:30pm.
Some other events include an all-ages Drag Brunch, open mics, safe space ally training, a bar crawl, community art workshops, free HIV testing and much more. Tons of free and family-friendly events will pack coffee shops, book shops, pubs and more.
