Local Memoirist and Poet Featured at Monthly Brews + Prose

Tue 3/3 @ 7PM

The monthly Brews + Prose events taking place at Market Garden Brewery, usually feature a pair of writers, often in different genres, with contrasting life experiences.

Eliese Goldbach combines a blue-collar and academic background. She was a steelworker who went on to get an MBA in nonfiction, and currently teachers at John Carroll University. Her memoir, Rust: A Memoir of Steel and Grit, which was just released, tells her story. She’s had work published in various literary magazines, but this is her first book.

Poet Kisha Nicole Foster is familiar to many Clevelanders, having written, published and read her work extensively and working as an educator and program director. She won the 2019 Cleveland Arts Prize for Emerging Artist in Literature, and wrote and read a poem for the Tamir Rice Foundation’s recent event at the Cleveland Music of Art.

The event is free and open to all, and if you buy a book from one of the authors, you get a free beer.
