Celebrate Recovery at the Opioid Awareness Music Festival

Sun 8/11 @ noon

On Sun 8/11 from noon until dusk, the Opioid Awareness Music Festival unites indie bands, music lovers, experts and community resources in raising awareness around addiction and wellness. Ohio is experiencing the second highest rate of fatal overdoses in the United States, not to mention the countless lives that have been touched by this epidemic, and those who continue to struggle with the addiction.

In between the eight exciting performances will be experts and speakers with firsthand knowledge of what this crisis looks like. Many recovery agencies will also be present to showcase their work and the ways they are ending this ongoing crisis. They will not only shed light on the struggles Ohioans are facing, but also provide a message of hope for our future.

All ages are welcome at this free concert, hosted at the Hometown Bank Plaza! Fill up for lunch or dinner with local food trucks.

There’ll be performances by 15-60-75 (The Numbers Band), Dog Friendly, Gaetano’s Underworld, Hubbs Groove, Outlaws I & I, the Sam Hooper Group, the Outside Voices and Thieves of Joy.
