Environmental Impact: Stress, Hope and Transformation at the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve

“The Four Horsemen of Extinction” by Laura & Gary Dumm

Thu 7/18 @ 5:30PM

Art and environmentalism collide in upcoming exhibition Environmental Impact: Stress, Hope and Transformation, a collection of Ohio artist-activists’ works, varying in medium but consistent in message.

Combining images of destruction with images of hope, the exhibition will feature environmental impact at every phase. Landscapes destroyed by greed and community action towards conservation paints a more comprehensive narrative of climate change — and one that is a bit less depressing.

The opening reception will be held on Thu 7/18 @ 5:30-8pm at the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve. The show will continue until September 7th and will feature a variety of free, accompanying programing throughout its run. Read more here

Featured artists include Keith Berr, Palli Davene Davis, Maggie Denk-Leigh, Gary & Laura Dumm, Barbara Gillette, Tatiana Athena Gracyk, Marty Huehner, Stuart Pearl and Gwen Waight.
