Sat 6/29 @ 9-11PM
When the streetlights go off and the fireflies come out, you are bound to see kiddos enjoying the warm summer nights by catching these glimmering insects. From 9-11pm, Geauga Park District invites families and friends to participate in a massive lightning bug hunt on Sat 6/29.
The program will start with a short and amusing presentation on the fascinating critter. After that, everyone will be welcome to grab a net, or use their hands, to catch the fireflies and put them in a giant jar.
By the end of the night, the giant jar will be glowing with the collections of attendees as they roam around the Swine Creek Reservation in Middlefield Township. Free fun for all!
