First Ever Edgewater Street Fest Hits Clifton Ave

Sun 6/30 @ noon-7PM

The Clifton Arts and Musical Festival, which has operated out of the Edgewater neighborhood on the cusp of Lakewood and Cleveland for the last 30 years, has transformed itself into a full on street fest. For the first time, the Edgewater Street Fest will take over Clifton avenue between W.115 and W.117th street on Sun 6/30 @ noon-7pm.

A combination of food, music and dance, youth activities, vendors and more will give a fresh look and feel to the already beloved Clifton Arts Fest. A stage at W. 117 will feature live performances from The Benjaminz and Lounge Kitty, among others. Veranda L’Ni, a neighborhood resident and acclaimed “Cleveland’s tallest drag entertainer,” will emcee the stage in the evening.

Food vendors from neighborhood restaurants and local creatives highlighting their craft will line the streets. Kids activities with Cudell Arts Center, roller skating with the RollinBuckeyez Foundation, and an all-ages music exploration station with the Cleveland Orchestra will surely keep all the little ones entertained.

Behind this event is Cudell Improvement, an organization that has served the Edgewater and Cudell neighborhoods of Cleveland since 1974 by bringing services and programs for the physical, economic and social development to strengthen the fabric of the community.
