The Capitol Theatre’s monthly Happy Hour film series, featuring movies from the American Film Institute’s list of the 100 Greatest American Films, continues with a film that won’t leave viewers with a feeling of happiness: 1991 psychological thriller The Silence of the Lambs, #74 on the list.
Starring Jody Foster as the young FBI agent tracking a serial killer and Anthony Hopkins as the serial killer Hannibal Lechter, and directed by Jonathan Demme, the film won five Oscars including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress.
The evening starts with a cocktail party from 6-7pm; admission includes a mini-cocktail or soft drink, appetizers and live music. (You can purchase more cocktails if you feel you need to be fortified for viewing this film). The screening starts at 7pm. Tickets are $10.
