Folksinger Charlie Mosbrook & Friends Liven Up a Tuesday Evening at the Grog Shop

Tue 10/23 @ 8PM

Folksinger Charlie Mosbrook has been known as a linchpin of the local acoustic music scene for nearly 25 years. He’s hosted many open mic nights, encouraging other artists to step up. He was instrumental in reviving acoustic music nonprofit Folknet and served as its president. And despite spinal cord injury that limits his movement, he’s recorded numerous albums of both original and traditional tunes, and taken them on the road.

Along the way, he’s built a ton of relationships in the local music community. So you know you’re in for a good night when Charlie Mosbrook & Friends take over the stage at the Grog Shop on a sleepy Tuesday night. He’ll be joined by Red Brick Rhodes and GS Harper for a “Songwriter in the Round” type format. You’ll most likely hear some of the finest songwriting to come out of Cleveland, along with rousing and/or affecting versions of old classics. Admission is just five bucks.
