Amici String Quartet Continues Its Beethoven Project with Arts Renaissance Tremont

Sun 2/18 @ 3PM

Violinists Takako Masame and Miho Hashizume, violist Lynne Ramsey and cellist Ralph Curry apparently don’t get their needed music fix playing with the Cleveland Orchestra. The foursome also plays together as the Amici String Quartet.

They’re back at Pilgrim Church for another matinee concert for Arts Renaissance Tremont, and it will come as no surprise to regulars of that series that they will again be playing a program of Beethoven, the fourth of six performances in which they’ll play all of the Beethoven String Quartets.

This time, they’ll take on No. 8 in E minor (the 2nd Rasumovsky Quartet); No. 6 in B flat major, and No. 13 in B flat major (“Lieb”).

All Arts Renaissance Tremont concerts are free and open to all.
