Opera at the Italian Garden has grown each year to attract thousands of listeners who spread out picnics underneath the trees or tote their lawn chairs to enjoy the performance of familiar opera arias and Italian songs sung by members of Cleveland Opera Circle. This year, the newly formed Cleveland Ballet performed with the singers during four numbers, and the audience was treated to a number by 11-year-old budding opera singer Polina Kornyushenko.
