If you haven’t had the chance to check out DayGlo IV, the latest version of the show featuring local artists working with DayGlo paint, at Waterloo Arts, start your year by dropping by the DayGlo party at the gallery.
There you will find dozens of diverse works illuminated by black lights to create an atmosphere like you don’t normally see in a gallery. And since the show was moved to Waterloo Arts for the first time, it’s bigger than ever.
From 5-7pm, there’s a family-friendly pre-party where you can create yourself a fabulous DayGlo hat. Then, from 7-11pm, there’ll be dancing to DJ music, food and cash bar with “glowing booze.” No seriously, that’s what they’re promising. It’s a suggested $5 donation.
