Drinking and making art have always gone together. But the combo has gotten big around town with the Dr. Sketchy’s evenings at area bars and events like the wine-fueled adult painting classes at Akron’s Center for Art, Music and Performance.
Add the Wall Street Tavern in Parma to the list. Noted local artist Bernadette Glorioso painted the murals at the tavern and now she’s teaching interested would-be artists how to put the Cleveland cityscape on canvas at Cocktails and Canvas. All are welcome, experienced painters and those who aren’t sure which end of the brush to use. Cost is $35 (which includes all materials) and there’s a two-drink minimum.

As a bonus, Wednesdays are ladies nights; from 8-9pm ladies get three free drinks with each one they buy. Luckily, most of the painting should be done by then or a paint fight might break out!
