John Christ Winery’s original owner began producing wine at the Avon Lake winery in 1946. Currently vintner Jack James has followed in his footsteps while bringing the business to the next level with wines that have won numerous statewide awards. All phases of production are done onsite extracting the grape juice to fermenting and aging to bottling and labeling.
You can stop in seven days a week to pick up some bottles at the retail shop or come in and enjoy the hospitality at the bar Thursday through Sunday. John Christ Winery is also available for special events.
