Waterloo Arts is currently in the process of collecting submissions completed by artists whom identify as trans. The organization is looking to submit the artwork for inclusion in a group exhibition showcasing work which express compelling narratives regarding gender identity in contemporary society.
The submission deadline for the project is Sat 2/28, and eligible works can be: sculptures, paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking, mixed media, collages, assemblages, ceramics, fiber art or artist books. Waterloo arts will be looking for pieces that best represent triumphs, struggles and hopes for the future.
