About Adam: As the Eileen Bigelow Chair and Principal Flute of the Minnesota Orchestra, Adam Kuenzel built a strong foundation for his later musical success as a student at the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, where he received a Bachelor of Music. During his tenure at the conservatory, Adam Kuenzel studied with Robert Willoughby, recipient of National Flute Association Lifetime Achievement Award, and won the school’s concerto competition in the year he graduated. After earning his degree, Mr. Kuenzel received musical instruction from Tom Nyfenger in New Haven, Connecticut, then performed in jazz bands in his hometown of Cincinnati.
