VIDEO: Tour the White Boxes With Robert Maschke
ICA Benefit on Sun 9/18
Award-winning architect Robert Maschke’s two modernist white homes, infamously visible from the West Shoreway by tens of thousands of commuters daily, have begun to transform the way Clevelanders think about their rich architectural history… and future.
Now, you can tour these iconic homes on Sun 9/18 as part of a cool benefit for Cleveland’s venerated Intermuseum Conservation Association, which also features a tour of the art in both homes, refreshments and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
Watch the interview with Robert Maschke and learn more about his bold new homes, his architecture in the US and China, his gallery 1Point618 in the Gordon Square Arts District, and the undiscovered work of the ICA.

Love ’em or hate them, you can’t miss them. It is great that Maschke is offering to share them with the public this way (via the ICA). What a fantastic opportunity to take a closer look at style of home most do not have the fortune to visit. This is an example of great community involvement/education/exposure (from an architectural point of view), and not a bad marketing strategy to boot!
