Tue 6/5 @ 7:30PM
The Capitol Theatre is always doing film series with interesting and important themes. And for Pride Month, it’s bringing four films in on four successive Tuesdays that explore LGBT lives and issues.
It kicks off with the 2016 Croatian film The Constitution, directed by Rajko Grlić. It deals with a group of people who share an apartment building in Zagreb but not ethnic and religious backgrounds and sexual orientations. The beating of one of them, a transvestite, by a street gang sets in motion events that cause them to look at each other as human.
The film is in Croatian with subtitles. Admission is $9.75, $8.75 for students, $7 for seniors and children.
