If you like to ride a bike, whether you’re a serious or casual cyclist, Slow Roll Cleveland, the free warm weather event which invites cyclists of all ages and levels of experience and skill to take a leisurely ride through a different Cleveland neighborhood each Monday, is a great way to jumpstart your week. Slow Roll Cleveland was inspired by a similar ride in Detroit, which has attracted as many as 5,000 riders. Slow Roll Cleveland has reached as many as 700.

This week cyclists will assemble at Roberto Clemente Park @ 3690 Seymour Avenue, for a ride through the west side’s Clark-Fulton area. Meet up starts about 6; roll out is promptly at 7. The ride’s “Squad” will lead the group and make sure everything rolls smoothly. Although they have people on hand to help with minor repairs, it’s good to make sure your bike is a shape beforehand. And don’t forget your helmet!
