Sat 1/17 @ noon-3PM
It’s that time of year — the ice carving artists come out of their caves, or wherever they go in July. And Kent’s 22ndannual “Make Mine with Ice” ice-carving exhibition, presented by Standing Rock Cultural Arts and Downtown Businesses, is back on the Hometown Bank Plaza right in the heart of downtown Kent. There artist Mitch Schrader will be doing a demonstration from noon-3pm. Grab some coffee and a snack from a local business and stop by to watch the frozen sculpture unfold. It’s free and open to the public.
