We can see it just over the horizon. A better life for everyone, not just the billionaires and their cronies. Don’t let them pit us against each other. This is the week to get out and vote and show that we are looking forward to the future. I had the privilege to interview our candidates for Ohio Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State and Attorney General, plus the Cuyahoga County Executive. Check out the videos and make a plan to vote.
It’s also time to celebrate, as Halloween events dominate the calendar: A flash mob at AAM’s Circa Thriller party will recreate the MJ video, Goblin plays live music to horror films at the Cinematheque, The Current Year record store in Parma hosts a spooky bash with an appearance by author Laura DeMarco, Mushroomhead returns to the Agora, and Kent’s Standing Rock hosts Dia de los Muertos. Plus: Dominick Farinacci brings his Spirit of the Groove students to EDWINS, while Convergence-Continuum stages work by Clevelander David Hansen, Better World Day wrestles with AI, the Grog hosts the Great Grog Bake-Off, make buttons and flyers for the election at Zygote, and you can roll to the polls with Bike Cleveland. However you do it, make a plan, VOTE and bring a friend. For a better world.
