The Screw Factory, aka the Lake Erie Building, is a Lakewood industrial building (once known for manufacturing automobiles) that’s not jammed with artist studios of all types, workshops and small businesses. And periodically throughout the year, they open their doors for an open house, often accompanied by guest vendors set up in the spacious event spaces. This weekend is their spring art show and open studios, where you’ll find artists and craftspeople greeting you where they work and you can see a full range of their work and hopefully buy some it, along with those guest artists offering everything from chocolate to textiles to candles.
It’s free and open to all and there’s ample parking in the area.
