One of the newer galleries in town is Pinwheel Gallery, located in a historic storefront in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood. For a couple of years, they’ve been hosting shows that sometimes spotlight a single artist but more often group shows focused on a theme.
Their upcoming show is one of the latter. The Bike Show is an expansion of the Mini Bike Show, which they’ve hosted for the last two years. It will feature paintings, prints, photos and sculptures by 27 artist revolving around cycling. And on Saturday, May 16, a bicycling scavenger hunt called Old Brooklyn Pedal for Prizes will bring hundreds of its participants to the gallery. Go here for more info on that.
