This weekend a new show opens at the Cleveland Museum of Art called Renaissance to Runway: The Enduring Italian Houses, sharing the story of Italian fashion and textiles from the Renaissance era through the couturiers of today.
The theme of CMA’s MIX party this month is “Renaissance to Revolution” and guests will be able to see the new show which officially opens on Sunday November 9. And while the connecting thread is a little thin, the party will also draw on Beyoncé’s 2022 album Renaissance. The two DJs for the evening, Lily Jade and Black Unicorn, will feature Beyoncé’s work heavily in their sets. Guests are invited to dress up and walk the runway for a photo op.
As usual, there will be food and drink available for purchase inspired by the evenings theme, including Italian cuisine, cocktails, wine and beer.
