Each month, the nonprofit Cleveland Rocks: Past Present Future offers a professional development workshop for musicians in its Cleveland Rocks Shop in the Waterloo Arts District, in which a knowledgeable expert talks about some aspect of advancing your musical career.
This month, CRPPF’s David Kennedy will share information about instrument and vocal microphones and demonstrate what they can do and how they can impact your sound.
Each event also includes the 2×4 songwriter showcase following the workshop, with four artists playing two songs apiece. This month they include Nate “Ace” Eberhardt from the moody Afro-futurist band Nature Nvoke, dreampop/psychedelic guitarist Craig Rich, Tyler Winfield of rock-pop band The Modern Kollective and confessional singer/songwriter Abby Riley.
