Signs of summer coming are everywhere. And one of those is the opening of Mount Granita Italy Ice right in the heart of Little Italy near the intersection of Murray Hill and Mayfield roads. On Friday May 1 it will begin serving its made-from-scratch cold treats in around two dozen flavors including Espresso, Mascarpone (a creamy flavor with a texture like soft serve) and Granitamisu, blending chocolate, mascarpone and espresso for a tiramisu flavor.
And on May 1 from 5-10:30pm, it offers its seventh annual dollars scoops: any flavor of Italian ice, one scoop, one dollar. Go here to find all their flavors.
