The Lakewood Summer Meltdown, taking place in downtown Lakewood, attracts people from all over for an afternoon/evening of fun.
Now in its 18th year, the Meltdown includes activities for people of all ages and inclinations, families and adult friend groups. There are food vendors and a beer garden of course, street festival, games and outdoor activities, live music, a 5K race, and a one-mile Family Fun Run and Walk. It’s free and everyone’s invited to come and visit the heart of Lakewood.
