Maybe you’ve been following the work the nonprofit group Bike Cleveland does in advocating for infrastructure that’s safe for all users, and the many events it hosts to bring cyclists together and thought “That sounds like something I’d like to get involved in.”
Now’s the time to stop thinking and do it. Bike Cleveland’s Winter Social takes place this week at Gear Up Velo in Brecksville. Their staff will be on hand to meet you and share some of the events and programs you can be part of. And you can check out gear from local bike shops and meet other avid cyclists as well. The event is free, but it’s also a great opportunity to join or renew your membership.
