Every once in a while, the Children’s Museum of Cleveland, which primarily provides experiences for toddlers and younger elementary school-aged children, opens their doors to people who haven’t been that age for a long time, offering events for adults as fundraisers for its mission to serve kids.
One of those is its second annual Prom Rewind, purporting to give adults the chance to “relive one of life’s most memorable milestones.” But in addition to the music and dancing, it will offer something your prom never had: interactive art and play experiences. The eight exhibit spaces will offer opportunities for adults to make things such as corsages and photo frames at craft stations, play games and do some karaoke. There will also be alcoholic beverages available, something not found at the Children’s Museum on a normal day. Dress up and come down for some grownup or childlike fun to benefit the Museum’s fund for free and reduced admission programs so every child can visit.
