GlamGore Drag Show Goes to the Movies with Tarantino/Burton-Inspired Acts

Fri 11/7 @ 9:30PM

Anhedonia Delight, the Cleveland drag artist who hosts the monthly GlamGore nights at the Grog Shop, never seems to run out of creative themes for these evenings.

This month’s is “The Tarantino & Burton Ball.” “What do you get when you cross Quentin Tarantino and Tim Burton?” she asks. “The best crossover of drag entertainment and culturally iconic references from movies over the past four decades!” she says, answering her own question. “From Pulp Fiction, Beetleguise and Grindhouse, to Edward Scissorhands, we’ll be sure to provide all the best character references and looks from this dynamic and thrilling set of movie producers.”

As usual, Anhedonia has reached out to her vast network of performers to find her cast from near and far. This month it includes Meta, Latrice Joy J-Love and Stevie Aura from Cleveland, Selena West from Columbus and special guests Saint from Illinois and Cynthia Doll from Missouri, both alumni of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula show.

VIP early entry is at 7:30pm, with the meet-and-greet at 8pm. General admission doors are at 8 with showtime at 9:30. As usual DJ Sissybunny spins the tunes. Get tickets here.
