The annual Ingenuity Festival isn’t until late September but you can get a taste of it now at Ingenuity Cleveland’s biggest fundraising event of the year, the ingenuity Bal.
Come dressed in your most extravagant finery — or in your everyday clothes: nothing is off limits. This year’s theme is Daydreamery, and your experience is whatever you want it to be. The Ingenuity Labs at the Hamilton Collaborative will be filled with hands-on activities, demonstrations and performances: plenty of things to watch and do, courtesy of the Ingeneers and their guests. It’s the perfect change to meet the creators and see what they do, and just maybe decide to be a part of it yourself.
Performers include Megan Sullivan Violin, Messmaker, Post Saga, Lounge Kitty and DJ Terkalerk, with immersive performances by Ingenuity stalwarts the Tesla Orchestra, Cleveland Black Fairies, head in the Clouds and Madame Sascha. There’s live mural painting, food and drink and souvenirs to take home.
