The Cuyahoga Valley Concert Band, an all-volunteer ensemble, featuring amateur musicians with a wide range of ages, has been performing in Northeast Ohio since 1969!
If you’d like to catch them in an attractive outdoor setting, head down to the Liberty Park Nature Center of the Summit Metro Parks on Monday July 27. Bring your blanket or chair — they’ll provide popcorn and lemonade! (You can always bring your own snacks if you choose.) They’ll play the sort of toe-tapping instrumental music they perform at senior centers, nursing homes, community gatherings and other special events: show tunes, classic pop tunes, marches and other classic band selections. It’s free and open to all.
