Chagrin Falls' Art By the Falls Offers More Artists Than Ever—Plus Music, Food and Kids' Activities

Sat 6/6 @ 10AM-7PM

Sun 6/7 @ 10AM-4PM

For more than four decades, Valley Art Center in Chagrin Falls has been presenting one of the area’s most friendly and appealing outdoor art events, Art by the Falls. It is, of course, no longer by the falls in downtown Chagrin Falls: several years ago while the are was undergoing some work, it moved to the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field, where it has stayed, taking advantage of the extra space and ample parking.

And the festival has grown. This year, it’s hosting more than 170 artists from around the country who work in every medium you can think of — the largest number yet. It’s a great chance to chat with artists, some of whom will be demonstrating how they create their work. And that’s not all: there’ll be nearly a dozen food vendors, a wine and beer tent, a Kids’ Tent, musicians playing folk music, jazz and blues, and an art raffle. So there are plenty of things to do all day. In addition, to retain its ties to Chagrin Falls, there’ll be a trolley between the polo field and Chagrin Falls all day so you can shop the merchants in town as well.

Festival admission is free.
