Sat 10/31 @ noon
Get some physical exercise and fresh air, exercise your civic duty and make some new friends all at the same time. Gather at the Rockefeller Park Lagoon at noon and join a group sponsored by Bike Cleveland to Roll to the Polls.
It’s a one-way, five-mile social ride down to east 18th and Superior where the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is now located. You should probably plan to take some time and make an afternoon of it. The weekend before the election tends to have heavy turnout, and a lot of groups are planning events down at the BoE. But that makes voting even more exciting and fun: you can celebrate with lot of energized folks hoping to help make some change in Ohio. There’s often music and groups passing out snacks!
And since it’s Halloween, wear a costume—within reason. Remember that the elections workers need to check your ID so no masks and big head gear, toy weapons and other props etc
