Pandy’s Garden Center is a hidden treasure in Elyria, a sprawling space that has plants of every type, from annuals to trees, garden and yard décor, and everything you need to make your plants grow. It’s even got resident cats!
They’ll probably be hiding somewhere up high this Saturday when Pandy’s celebrates its annual Dog Days of Summer benefit for the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County. It’s four hours of fun for you and your dog.
Either or both of you can come dressed as a superhero or supervillain and enter the costume contest. Ruben’s Deli Food Truck will be there, along numerous vendors to browse, some with pet-related items and some with things like chocolate and photo services. Friendship APL will also be there, sharing information about what they do and accepting donations of items such as blankets, food and newspaper. There’ll also be a 50/50 raffle. And your dog will have the chance to hang out with other dogs, something most dogs love. The cats will look down with disdain!
