Guitarist Carl Baldasarre has been part of the Cleveland music scene for a long time, playing in a variety of bands (mostly progressive rock oriented) since the late 70s. Recently, he has been prowling local stages with several different stage shows he’s put together with musicians he calls the Baldassarre Orchestra. And while the shows are often based on his interpretation of material by artists ranging from Led Zeppelin to The Who to Queen, they’re anything but a standard cover band with their enhanced and personalized arrangements and often, the interjection of Baldassarre’s original compositions.
Baldassarre will be bringing his show “The Ultimate Classic Rock Experience 1965-1975” to the Lorain Palace Theatre for a Concert to Fight Hunger. It will include music the aforementioned artists along with Cream, Jethro Tull, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, the Guess Who, Deep Purple and more.
Money raised will benefit the Berea Community Outreach Program and Food Pantry and concertgoers are also invited to bring nonperishable food items and household paper and personal products to donate.
