Lacy Talley is one of Cleveland’s rising young artists whose diverse, mixed-media work has been seen in galleries and shows around town. Her “Crystal Collection” in last year’s The Nature of Healing group show at the Cleveland Botanical Garden was one of its highlights, with its delicate “crystal ladies” sculpture set in miniature scenes set on top of pedestals. But, like some of the best young artists in the local creative scene, she’s also a catalyst and an organizer, someone who brings artists together to spark and enhanced collective creativity.

So this Saturday, she’ll be opening a show/event called We Collab, taking place at Lounges Content Studio (1547 St. Clair) in downtown Cleveland. For this event, more than 60 artists working in a wide range of media and disciplines. Including visual art, poetry, music, fashion. and sign, worked together to connect and create, asking the question “What does community mean to you?”

She says, “This is not just an exhibition—it’s a shared creative experience.”

You can see the results of the collaborations, meet and connect with creatives, and experience live performances throughout the evening. A selection of prints, artwork and artist merchandise will be available for purchase. There’s also a VIP experience available, where you can come in an hour and a half early, enjoy free Maker’s Mark art-inspired cocktails and add your own flourishes to a drinking glass started by Talley.
