Indulge in 80s/90s Nostalgia at WRHS’s New Exhibit “RADwood: Cleveland Goes Rad”

Thu 1/10 @ 6-9PM

People often associate cars with their youth, recollecting what vehicles they owned or coveted when they were just starting to drive.

Those who came of age in the 1980s and 90s should be very excited about the Western Reserve Historical Society’s upcoming show at the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum at the Cleveland History Center. RADwood: Cleveland Goes Rad looks at both car culture and culture in general in that era, featuring clothing, music and more in addition to cars.

Bradley Brownell, Rick Deacon, Art Cervantes, and Lane Skelton founded RADwood, a traveling car show, in 2017. Now they’ve partners with WRHS to do a deeper dive into this particular time period. The show will feature vehicles from the museum’s collection and private collectors.

The show opens with a 90s-themed party on Thu 1/10 where guests can get a first look at the show and meet the RADwood founders. You’re invited to come in 90s garb so dig out those flannel shirts! Tickets are $20.

RADwood: Cleveland Goes Rad runs through Sun 3/24.
