Stow quartet Chil is located somewhere behind a squeaky-clean boy band and a squeaky-clean pop/punk band. Their cheerful music, heavy on vocal harmonies and sing-along choruses is the sort of music whose strongest appeal is to teen and pre-teen girls, enhanced by the fact that they’re squeaky-clean cute.
The group is releasing a new record Seldom Fade, and they’re debuting it at the Kent Stage, close enough to home so all their friends and family can come.
