For more than two decades, Standing Rock Cultural Arts in Kent has been presenting its annual environmental group art show at its North Water Street Gallery.
Now it’s back for the 23rd year, featuring paintings, sculpture, fiber art and more by Jan Noden, Chuck Slonaker, Trey Berry, Fred Pierre, Kerry Cumpstone, Jim Zeller, Doc Green, Bridget Anthony, Daiv Whaley, Elizabeth Kuhn, Elizabeth Miloscia, Julia Fouty, Megan Summers, Daiv Whaley, Jim Zeller and Annie Stegg Gerard, among others.
The opening reception on Saturday April 8 will feature live music by sitarist Antara Bhattacharya and shakuhachi Player Lydia Snyder. The show will be on view through Saturday May 27, including during the 17th annual Who’s Your Mama? Earth Day Festival in downtown Kent on Saturday April 22.
