It’s time to bring a little magic back into our lives, along with some holiday cheer. Luckily, Wild Winter Lights is returning to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, starting Tuesday November 17.
The display will light up the night with more than a million lights converging to create individual themed walk-through areas such as Candyland, Enchanted Forest, Conservation Trail and Santa’s Workshop. There’ll be carousel rides, costumed characters (including Santa, of course), model train displays, ice carvers, live music by choirs including Cleveland’s children’s choir, the Singing Angels, and a light show around a 50-foot tree.
As with the Asian Lantern Festival this summer, visitors will have the option to tour the displays on foot or from the safety of their vehicle if they’re concerned about their health. The zoo will have additional safety measures, including requiring face coverings for everyone six and older.
Drive-through events take place Tuesdays and Wednesdays; walk-through events are Thursdays through Sundays @5:30-9:30pm, through Sunday January 3. Tickets are $18 for zoo members; $20 for non-members. Drive-through is $54 per car for members; $60 for non-members.
