Professional and Autistic Artists Share Wall Space at the Derek Hess Gallery

Fri 9/21 @ 5-9PM

DINOSHOW: Art & Autism, a one-night-only show at the Derek Hess Gallery at 78th Street Studios, is something a little different from a typical art show — although that’s typical for the Hess Gallery.

The work in the show by local artists such as Hess, Tim Eakin, Angela Oster and Aaron Sechrist uses as its source material work artwork by kids on the autism spectrum. Ten such kids were invited to draw their favorite dinosaur, which the professional artist then reinterpreted. The work of the ten teams will be on display together in the gallery.

The exhibit benefits Connecting for Kids, in collaboration with University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.
