The focus at LatinUs’s Black Box Theater at the Pivot Center will shift from stage to screen when it presents it Latino International Film Festival at LatinUs for the third year
Over its two days, it will show films from around the world, ranging from the serious to the light-hearted, representing a wide range of Latin cultures. On Friday night, things kick off with an opening ceremony, wine and appetizers at 7pm. At 7:30 it will present the regional debut of the 2006 Puerto Rican film El Clown, followed by a Q&A with its director Pedro Aborno and a selection of seven short films from six countries.
On Saturday, patrons can see movies from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, Brazil and the U.S. And a mere $5 tickets gets you the chance to enjoy a full program of films.
