The Akron Art Museum’s Circa party is back, and this time it’s called Circa Thriller II, celebrating all things spooky as well as the memorable 1983 Michael Jackson video for the title song from his best-selling-of-all-time 1982 album.
The big dance party at the museum will include music (of course!) by DJ Rybar including those Halloween classics, a costume contest, trick-or-treating in the galleries, screen printing and other make-and-take art activities, a photo booth to record your Halloween look, and what they promise will be “plenty of eerie surprises.”
One thing that won’t be a surprise is a Thriller flash mob performance, emulating the reepy characters who joined Jackson on the dance floor in that video.
