Musicians Against Dictators is at it again. The organization, founded in the spring of 2025 in Cleveland to take a pro-democracy stand while making music, is hosting a “No Kings” fundraiser at Agostino’s Bistro & Pub (12308 Mayfield) Little Italy, bringing together some of the area’s top jazz and classical musicians to say “Hell no” to authoritarianism, corruption and cruelty.
At 6pm the MAD String Quartet, featuring Cleveland Orchestra members Isabel Trautwein, Alicia Koelz, Joanna Zakany, and Tanya Ell, will perform, followed at 7-9pm by vocalist Evelyn Wright, pianist Jackie Warren and bassist Leonard DeCosimo.
Donations range from $20-$100 and all money raised goes to Mobile the Vote NEO which works to get voters registered and to the polls.
