The Rock Hall’s summer outdoor concert series, Live and Local, is back, and once again on Thursday evenings from July 9 through August 13, you can hear some outstanding local acts playing on the PNC Stage on the plaza.
It kicks off with a band that was also part of its 2024 series, the rapidly rising LoConti. The young, six-member ensemble, fronted by lead vocalist/guitarist Henry LoConti III and vocalist/percussionist Erin Donovan, has a powerful sound with a classic rock base shaped by contemporary influences, a hint of blues, and a repertoire of memorable originals mixed with reworkings of rock standards. It’s released a pair of albums, 2023’s Cherry Red, and 2024’s Reflections, and was working on a third when its drummer Michael LoConti was killed in a car accident in February 2025. With difficulty, they regrouped and have continued to demonstrate they’re one of the area’s most promising bands.
